La Zímatha es el arma mas común y representativa de las Ordenes de Cazadores.

Zímatha en antiguo dialecto de Empiria significa “Espolón” o “Uña”

El diseño de esta arma se remonta a los inicio de las Ordenes de Cazadores siglos atrás, a finales de la Segunda Era de Epikha. Despues de la guerra los Cazadores no contaban con tantos recursos como las Ordenes Paladines. Sus equipos y armamento eran sencillos y en muchas ocaciones eran fabricados con restos de otras armas. Por otro lado el nuevo estilo de combate desarrollado por las Ordenes de Cazadores requeria un arma ligera pero resistente que permitiera a los Cazadores movimientos rápidos y precisos. Así nació la Zímatha; un arma sencilla y ligera pero forjada con metal resistente que generalmente provenia de viejas espadas de campeones abandonadas. Al inicio muchas de la Zímathas no eran mas que hojas de espadas rotas recubiertas con cuero en la base.

Al pasar el tiempo las Ordenes de Cazadores establecieron armerías y forjas mas completas donde poco a poco construyeron mejores Zímathas utilizando los mejores matales y aleaciones de Epikha.

Las Zímathas son por lo general armas comunes, no son armas mágicas. Los Cazadores dependen mas de sus habilidades de combate que de la magia, debido a esto los Cazadores no les gusta usar armas mágicas. Sin embargo si existen algunas Zímathas mágicas, la mayoría regaladas a Héroes Cazadores como trofeos o como pago por servicios.

Existen dos tipos básicos de Zímatha: las Zímathas comunes; alargadas y delgadas, y las Zímathas Ariuz; delgadas en la base pero con la punta amplia.

Las Zímathas comunes son el arma regular de los Cazadores. Ligera, delgada y muy afilada es capas de hacer cortes precisos. Por otro lado la Zímatha Ariuz es mas pesada y difícil de manejar. Fue diseñada para atravesar piel muy gruesa y romper huesos densos.

The Zímatha is the most common and representative Hunter's weapon.

In ancient Empiria dialect Zímatha means "Beak" or "Claw"

The design of this weapon born in the early beginnings of the Hunters Orders centuries ago, at the end of the Second Era of Epikha. After the war the Hunters did not have as many resources as the Paladins Orders. Its equipment and weaponry were simple and mostly made of old weapons. On the other hand the new fighting style developed by the Hunters Orders required a light but strong weapon that would allow fast and precise movements. Thus the Zímatha was born; a simple and light weapon forged with sturdy metal that  generally came from old abandoned champion swords. At the beginning many of the Zímathas were nothing but simple broken swords sheets coated with leather.

Over time the Hunters Orders established more complete armories and forges where gradually built better Zímathas using the best metals and alloys in Epikha.

The Zímathas are usually common weapons, they arent magical weapons. Hunters depend more on their combat skills than magic, because of this the Hunters do not like using magic weapons. However there are some magic Zímathas, most of them trophies or payment  given to Hunter Heroes.

There are two basic types of Zímatha: the common Zímathas; long and thin, and the Ariuz Zímathas; thin  base but with a wide tip.

Common Zímathas are the regular Hunter weapons. Lightweight, thin and very sharp are capable of making precise cuts. On the other hand the Ariuz Zímatha is heavier and unwieldy. It was designed to span very thick skin and break dense bones.
